I kid. It has its flaws, but honestly, I like it better than the comiquette. I know that's crazy. But man, when I first saw that thing, I was wow'd. Still am in many ways.

Agreed...I have a quite a few current artists that I am a big fan of...Ramos and JRJr are NOT on that list.

Not that I'm against the cartoony look, it just has to suit the book...I am big fan of Rob Guillory's work on Chew, for example.

yeah i too feel the same way about ramos' style. i just never ever liked that look. met him in person at a con, was a totally nice dude. but couldn't tell him his art style looked horrid lol...to me the definitive spidey look will always be mcfarlanes.

Not buying any of these. I must say that MJ and Gwen look good IMHO. I have the 1/4 Spidey Com so I'll be passing on this 1/5 Com. I can't say whether I like it or not until I see pics but nothing of what I've seen so far wows me.

I think the outstretched leg could look strange but it all depends how it flows with the rest of the piece... As someone else pointed out, his fingers are pretty long also.. Seems to be the style they are going for... I could either like this or hate it... Will have to wait for the full reveal.
