,jakks are adding classic looks to there dc line ,very reminiscent of the superpowers line and a very late 1980s looking black batman

look great and great deal for $20 a pop

and just a heads up for any in the uk ,the batman is in argos now for 25 quid ,just picked one up ,it scales with the necas pretty good and has a ton of potential for improvement ,says on the argos website its 19 inches tall

its pretty light but solid and stands well no support needed

I picked up the 19" Batman today.

I think cheap and cheerful sums it up!

For £25, I'm not ashamed to say I really like it! I know these are maybe kids toys, but this one really is decent. It's cheap light plastic, the cape is bad, and it's not painted well in places. But there's just something so cool about it. The likeness is great from head to toe! The best available batfleck sculpt I've seen so far I think. With a repaint the sculpt could be amazing. The whole figure could be something great with a bit of work. There is great detail into the whole thing. Stood there, it is massive, and I can't help but keep looking at it!

I dunno, sometimes the cheaper collectibles are the ones that really give you a buzz.

I'm going to do some repainting and make my own cape.

I'm tempted to get the superman now considering how much I like this.

yeah your right it does ,and i agree with everything you said about this bats ,
its not what you pay .its how it makes you feel ,
its got such a lot of presence for a" cheap toy ",ive repainted mine and repositioned the head to sit slightly lower and hopefully a little more naturally ,when i think how much ive paid in the past for "garage kits " £60 to £120 ,many were misshapen lumps of resin that had more air bubbles than a bar of aero ,and all the work i could do wouldnt have produced a figure as good as this one for 25 quid ,lights too bad for my phone to take pics right now ill stick some up in the morning ,and lmk if you find the supes or wonder woman

Looking forward to those pics buddy, really eager to see your repaint and head modifications. Yeah I will let you know. I'm tempted by Supes.

heres the pictures,nothing earth shattering im afraid but i think it improves it a bit ,and he certainly doesn't look out of place with the neca figures i have

as for the head mod ,i just warmed the head and pulled it off ,and cut out the inner ring that holds it on ,and pushed it on the neck post just enough to hold it on,i might build up the neck post to better hold it but probably wont as its about right for what im going to do with it right now ,stand him up a leave him there and look at it often lol ,gives a fair bit of movement and expression lol ,so with out further ado i present the many moods and expressions of 25 quid batman lol

like i said not earth shattering but boy he looks great for the money and has real shelf presence ,.again i think of it as a real cheap clean large "garage kit "that looks okay as is but can be worked to suit your own needs for the character,please lmk if you find supes and wonder woman while your out and about
