I think if it included a second HS like the calm CW version this would have been a better release. I do tip my hat to HT for the expression. It's just to much for me.

I still don't understand the interest in sith eyes Anakin tbh, he has them for like 1 frame in the movie then they go back to normal.

It does look cool in figure form, but yeah essentially getting a basic looking Anakin from ROTS is still screen accurate to "Darth Vader" Anakin, especially if you put his hood up.
Sorta need a sweaty, battle damaged final battle version with an additional chopped up body as an accessory to justify a new Anakin beyond what we already have/have coming.
I just want them to do a new sculpted ROTS Anakin
Why did every other “artisan” figure get a sculpted version apart from him? Bull ****.

That “2.0” I was talking about was actually a reference to the Sith Anakin in the Ahsoka show btw.

They'll find some excuse to release a new ROTS Anakin, I wouldn't worry hahah.
I think there's plenty to improve upon with even the Artisan sculpt anyway. Maybe even the tailoring and materials of the outfit could do with an upgrade too.
The AOTC sculpt is probably the best Anakin they have (in theory) so it would be nice to see them build off of it.
I do agree the AOTC is stronger than the Artisan one. Just need a new ROTS with either of those sculpts and a much much better hair piece cause the original ROTS hair piece looks ridiculous now

Went ahead and placed an order for the collector coin version. I know it sounds like a stupid exclusive (and sort of agree), but I’ve always appreciated the idea of a cool coin as that’s something my mom collects. Totally forgot about Maul and his collector coin version, so now I’m on the waitlist for his. Pretty sure it’ll convert though when the time comes

Well I was completely wrong. Zero new HT in the most recent batch. All older figures. Maybe they are trying to clear out older stock? So expect bargain basement prices for figures that no one wanted like zombie Iron Man. Oh well. The only positive from this is that the next shipment surely must be stacked with new figs
Finally secured Darth Sidious on PO. A subpar HT figure imo – disappointed in the overall portrait and outfit, but I’ve been waiting to have this representation for a long time now. One of my favorite SW character designs of all time and the first Prequels Sidious.
The Prequels villains are coming to a close with this and Grievous, all that remains is ROTS Darth Vader.
Hoping if they ever do the red suited Chancellor version, that it’d be a DX type set which would bring two head-sculpts (clean and deformed) and everything else needed for that version.
