Hey guys. New in here. Just started getting pieces together for a custom Craig Bond. I noticed a lot of you are using the Hot Toys Coulson body in your bashes. I was curious as to why. What are the unique properties of that body that make it best for Bond?

I think it's mostly because all the decent tuxedos and suits fit it.

Definitely this. It's not Craig's build - which doesn't matter because the figure isn't being displayed naked. In 1/6 the fabric doesn't scale, so you have to often make significant compromises on the size and shape of the base body to make sure the clothing fits and looks "right."

I had decent luck with the "Narrow Shoulder" knock-offs with the Toys City shawl collar tux for Connery. Too tall for Craig though.

Anyone tried the HT Alfred body for a fitting?

The only thing odd about the Coulson is the chest area kinda bulges out in the middle. Feels a bit unatural, like it should be flatter.

It also doesn't look half good. There are a bunch of photos of that head in past posts here in this thread. You can possibly use Google's image search to restrict to this thread or Tapatalk's image browsing feature.

Recently got the DID Agent Jack figure, to fullfill my Daniel Craig James Bond needs for now.
Really liking it, and hoping to upgrade it with the Modern Life sculpt when it comes along, not entirly screen accurate I know, but will do for me.

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to paint two Connery heads for me. One regular painted and one painted more tanned. So who'd be willing to do this?

Here's my WIP "Goldfinger" Bond. BBKill's head sculpt, painted by my brother, Indiana. Who also made the suit (still in progress).

Had I not seen the Modern Life sculpt I would have gone with the DID head too, I even got the body for it. I still have to get the body for the Modern life head. I'm hoping against hope to wrap up all of my unfinished projects this year.
