Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Fantastic work Hydeous! I was really looking forward to seeing your paint up of the bbkill Connery sculpt! I would love to know how you paint your eyes. They have an almost glass like appearance which is absolutely striking!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Yeah, surprised how good that sculpt looks. Some other paint ups I've seen did not bring out the likeness as much. I guess seeing it on abody helps.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Just remembered, I don't have a body for that head now. I might try out one of those new Worldbox bodies when they come out.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Has anyone ever made a great Timothy Dalton figure? Because he's my favorite Bond--that's right, I said it!--and I'd love a Dalton Bond my shelf. (Or a Dalton Sir Malcolm from Penny Dreadful, now that I'm thinking about it!)

If you haven't read the actual books, you should. Timothy Dalton was closest to the character in the books than anyone. It's too bad his movies didn't fare well, but trying to follow the goofy Roger Moore era with serious interpretations was going to be tough.
