I know-- It's an ongoing battle. No IKEA within striking distance so I'm stuck without Detolfs.

Swiffers and compressed air cans, bro. They'll do you wonders. The compressed air will get rid of most dust from your collectibles and then a regular wipe down with the swiffers will do the rest. A collectors best friend imo.

I use swiffers-- but to be honest, getting rid of the dust is a good excuse to pose the collection in different ways.

To be honest, I don't really need or want to pay for Hot Toys quality anymore.

Allot of these figures came out at $40
At that price point, I could buy a nice little collection of figures with decent likeness, a few unique accessories and a display stand w/color art box.

Now it's all about crazy museum quality tailoring, paints and sculpting. Now figures come with multiple outfits and 3-4 pairs of hands. I just don't care for how 1/6 figures have become so elaborate.

I would rather pay a small amount of $$ for some really cool figures, that may not be perfect, but display well and represent the movies I love. I really don't care for Hot toys to pick up the license, I just wish Sideshow had continued with the line and made a few more figures.

Sure they look dated, but they're classic figures which represent a classic time in a classic license.

Personally speaking I'd rather have less junk and fewer high quality stuff. I can't look at the older stuff any more, sure they were 40 bucks but they do look it. It's hard to justify anything over 200 though, even with as amazing as they are 200 is a lot of money and most of them waver around that..

anyway...

If you're happy with it, that's all that matters. But I definitely prefer Sideshow's sculpt to that.

Thanks. I had it displayed like that at the beginning but I found it more fun to put (most of) the vilains there-- and they're betting very recognizable objects while other things are resting on the table. For example 006 is wagering the Goldeneye control while Scaramanga has his gold lighter, cigarette case etc. resting within reach. Also Bond's hand is the same one Craig has at the final poker game of Casino Royale.

(though I did think Connery was a little thin...he was a broad guy)

Man, HT needs to release a Connery Bond, and than a Craig one.

Heres how I see it-Craig in 2012 for the next Bond and 60th anniversary,followed by Connery,Moore and Brosnan.Id say Dalton and Lazenby but we all know how Hot Toys works with licences by now.
