I got Bond on I think a TTM 21 and the Head was painted by Boot 25
A good paint job on the SS Connery head can rival any new
Connery Head

Unfortunately, based on apparent track record, Rogerbee is likely going to be correct.

This is one reason I never PO anymore.


Not guaranteeing at least Oddjob for myself is really going to kill me though.

There are times when I hate to be right. The entire future of the license is riding on these too. If they don't deliver, Babs will reneg again and we'll be back where we were.

What?

I'm really impressed by the BCS, especially the scaled buttons, but I still think the Yunsil suit has far better tailoring. It is sharp and crisp. Wish my own suits fit as well as Yunsil's does on a doll.

Oh definitely the tailoring on any Yunsil suit is stunningly beautiful, which will likely not be matched by any mass produced item. This one is no exception but to me it's not Bond's Goldfinger suit, it's just a generic grey suit. With the inaccuracies to the screen worn item it's only ever been a stand in for me until something better comes along.

Has anyone done a Ralph Fiennes sculpt? He's not necessarily the best M, but he'd look nice next to Danny boy.

What's the best Sideshow Roger Moore sculpt they've done out of the four they made? Is the Legacy Moore a repaint of the Moonraker Moore?

I only have the LALD Sideshow Moore, but I remember looking into the others and realizing that LALD was the best (over MWTGG who had fuller hair) and it sure looks like the Moonraker sculpt is the same as the LALD sculpt to me.

Like the look of the LALD, paint job looks less fussy and caked on.

Custom JAMES BOND THREAD

Here's my Craig Bond w/ the black box head, guns, and white shirt and the HT Wolverine black suit and tie.

I opened the top button hole with a razor blade and added a pocket square from a piece of business card. Very happy so far

This isn't an issue isolated to this particular suit. I find that if a tailoring project doesn't have a lot of revisions and a ton of push-back, you're ending up with the same suit pattern in a different fabric. A lot of people are of the thought "let's get it done" instead of "let's get it done right" which can be challenging when there are so many people involved in a run.

nice that Black box is doing the White tux. The sculpt looks fantastic in their pics but in hand the paint is pretty bad.
