Made the reflectors for the sidelights.



The LEDs are a push fit in a removable block.





Made the headlights and auxiliary driving lamps. Still to make the lenses. Added the side repeaters as well.

Managed to finish off the headlights. Each lens is made from 2 parts. The inner is a flat piece of clear sheet, scribed with vertical lines. The outer, domed part, is an acrylic watch face.





Started making the steering column and switchgear. There are 2 knobs on either side of the column, the left is the dimmer for the gauges, and the right is a 4 position switch for the lights.



The light switch is made from 3 microswitches, arranged in a circular pattern. A disc is rotated, turning on each set of lights as it moves across.

Headlamps look very realistic.

Steering column under construction. The indicator stalk is mounted to a small push button which sounds the horn. There is a 2-pin connector fitted to allow the column to be removed.



View from the driver's seat. Steering wheel is taken from an RC car but heavily modified. Still to add an LED for the clock in the centre.



Checking everything falls to hand.

Got the grille and lights painted. I ordered some Molotow chrome marker pens, which i was keen to try out. Very happy with the results.



Started wiring up the gadget panel.



The buttons are the smallest latching ones I could find. Very fiddly getting 8 of them into an area about the same size as a postage stamp.

Completed the wiring for the rocket motor. The rocket lights up when it is fully extended.



Also added the rear foglights and number plate lights.

Managed to install the front fog lights. This was not entirely straight forward as they still needed to fall down when the missiles are exposed. Any wiring would have held them upright. To make the connection, I bent the legs of the LEDs under the lamps.



There are 2 small contacts on the bottom edge of the opening. These are wired on the inside.



Contact is made, only when the lights are retracted.

FYI the new Eleven Craig figure is up for sale now on OSK. Looks pretty impressive for $137, and is miles better than any previous third party Craig I've seen.

Hair color seems a bit off somehow, but that should be easy enough to fix.

Definitely looks better than the Blackbox offerings. I wish one of those third party companies would make a CR version...

Still, sculpt looks pretty good. For $137 hard to pass on.

Yeah it's not really the most exciting outfit. I'd rather have something more unique to Craig like his blue tuxedo or gray suit.
