Can we get this back on track and someone please just comment on the new cut and new footage? How are the new creatures and visuals in that hunt and chase scene?
Review the new stuff!! I'm going to see it myself soon.

I thought the new scenes were great. I felt the school scene gave more of an explanation of the hostility that had developed between the Na'vi and the humans. The hunt scene was a really nice add and the visuals looked great. The final extra scene with Jake becoming Tsu'tey's last shadow, was was the best part for me

I know that. It was 3 hours actually...but I never knew a movie could have 6 hours of actual footage. :lol

They actually had four hours of film to cut down to the final theatrical release. Its not uncommon to shoot hours of additional material. Cleopatra was also much longer than its theatrical release and it was already a long film.

I like them. Wouldn't say I was all that much a fan. Haven't read anything after the second book nor saw the third movie. :lol

I honestly have nothing against those movies. I actually really want to see the last one after reading spoilers for the last book. There is some crazy ass ____ in there that I hope gets put on film.

Oh I will watch them on DVD. No doubt. I may even throw a tonner doll Edward avatar up. Haha!

I know that. When you cut down people walking around, or long establishing shots, perhaps extra, useless scenes, action scenes, the film is longer. But I never heard of 6 hours of extra stuff. That's huge! So my mind was blown.

You should talk to some documentary filmmakers. Those people shoot everything.:lol

sure the special effects were great, but the story was pretty blah

it's like seein a really expensive car, the body is great, paint's excellent...pop open the hood expecting a killer engine & only finding a rum-dum 4 cylinder
