The medi Jango definitely looks much better with some padding.. I found a comparison of a medi and hasbro.. What you think?

I strongly prefer the Medicom Jango head sculpt and I really wonder why the Hasbro one is so much more popular. I have both and I simply think that Hasbro's is not as good as Medicom's. But what we need is a shot of Medicom Jango Fett next to Sideshow EII Obi-Wan Kenobi so that the height difference can be shown.

Here is the screen shot I promised.

Edit - Here is a second to help make the comparison

Two things. Sculpt is better, and so is the price.

The Medi-Fett head is not too bad IF you repaint it. While the sculpt is there iis sufferes from the generic paint apps most Medi likeness suffer from.

However I'm not going to say the Hasbro likeness isn't there, but I've never actually own one.

Medi-Fett as a figure is great. Very detailed, terriffic armor, great poses...Until it breaks. Take it from someone who owns the figure and has had it break in their sleep. If you can get him cheap then Medi Jango is great figure. But don't go all out for him. $80 tops, cause you'll likely have to replace the body.

The only reason Hasbro beat Medi is because, like Dooku, the sculpt is actually a scan of Morrison's face. That's the ONLY reason it has all the detail. Unfortunately, for me it was the dealbreaker for my Medi Jango who was on his 3rd RAH body. When that broke, I swapped it out for a 4th and put him on the bay. :(

But preferring a non-helmeted pose, the sculpt was my main focus, and Medicom's George Lopez just didn't cut it:

See I'm the opposite because I have no interest in displaying him sans helmet. But again if that's what you want, then Medi is probably not it for you. The flesh color alone is reason to by the Hasbro figure.
Helmet on and Jango is one of the few figures in my collection that could easily pass for a little person and could be photographed in a way that you would never know the difference.

He's definitely one of Medis best figures in appearance (w/ helmet) but the brittle body is a POS. In fact, even if you got one MIB it's likely to be broken in the box.

I've always heard how delicate it was to pose RAH bodies, and while the only two I have are Boba and Jango, It felt a lot more "enjoyable" finding poses for them.

funny..i sold my hasbro jango on ebay for 15 bucks last year. he was mint and complete of course..

I really dont see what all the fuss is about as far as this hasbro figure. I hated the way the cheap velcro leg armor would fall off and the thigh straps wouldnt fit over the legs and armor at the same time. You would pull the gun out and his holster would pop off. Plus he looked fat to me.

If this is what you call fat:

I'd hate to see what you consider skinny...

$15 for an hasbro Jango is a great deal.. I would buy it... Your right, the body its a little on the big side... I would totally swapped it for the buck or a TT...

he looks great naked..but dont we all?
It is our clothes anyway, that add 20 pounds right? lol
