The packing looks so so good. But how is the paint app. I want this guy but still very much undecided???

You guys that have the statue in hand, how is the paint apps, are they nice and rich or very dell? The pics on sideshow of this guy make it look very rich in color? Is that the case?

It looks like a NECA item. The paint could have been so much better imo.

In these photos so far I have to agree, It looks like NECA.

hmm...as for colors it is what it is, very dark tones. Nothing really bright and "rich" about it. Very muddy as mentioned some parts glossy and some parts flat.

As for the NECA comments...I'll agree it does have that NECA look, but the quality is way over NECA in my opinion.

As we've all talked, its kinda you either hate it or like it. While its not a true represenation of Jason to me, its still a cool piece and being that I mostly collect horror related items its cool. Im happy with it for what it is. The grail will be when the pt. 3 PF hits.

Got mine earlier today also. Sorry you're not happy with it warmachine, but I personally think it's kick ass! The paint is about as good as a factory paintjob could be for what it is, and it's totally worth the price, especially compared to other SS pieces in the same price range, IMO. I totally love the pose and the base is sick!

Yeah I like the piece but I dont care for the pose and the base is probably one of the better parts of it and the zombie face is cool as well.

...I do agree the base seems to scream more Leather face than Jason...That's something I can live with...I am just happy SS gave us something Friday the 13th. This is a nice little appetizer till we get to see and order the part 3 PF.
