You're very welcome. The bells and whistles aren't the big issue. It's really just sales volumes and size. If I want to hit hot toys prices, I would need to sell over 10,000 units per product, (and use those same molds again for reissues) and scale them down slightly and simplify their shapes and details. Those are the big things. If you look at the 1989 you can see what I mean.
But there is no market for that or Hot Toys would be making way more vehicles. That's why I have a job. There is a niche out there for these things, but it's not a large enough market for big boys like sideshow or hot toys.
So if you have to charge more for the vehicle because of the low sales numbers, it makes sense to make it really really accurate, detailed and with bells and whistles.
