You lost nothing by asking. They said no, cool. Their response was professional with no insults. Your account was not banned so, you know you will receive your product.

Having said that, i would agree with intothevoid. Resell it later. Right for me, the hairstyle is whats makes it look weird. And maybe a repaint can improve the sculpt.

This wasn’t me. Justin posted this.

But yes if I was in this situation I would pay off the balance and resell it later. Better than losing $800.

It seems like this is something new they have implemented starting with their Berserk statue, everything before that doesn’t have it stated on the product page.

Doesn’t make sense to me, how can you ask for final payment without a proper unboxing video first? Those emails should be sent afterwards.
The early final payment notice doesn't make sense to me either.

It's almost as if they expect buyers to cancel, because they are not pleased with their final product and are therefore sending the notice as early as possible before any final product images arise.
Also forcing the buyer to go through with the order by implementing a new policy, months after the pre order, is shady and untrustworthy.

With that said, I'm still going to wait for the reveal video, which should have been released by now.
If it was any other character I would have cancelled by now.

All of this nonsense makes it a lot easier to decide with which manufacturer (JND, HT or InArt) to place my order next time.

Was thinking the exact same thing. I assume a lot of people cancel after the unboxings and final balance emails so they had to come up with a way to minimize that. Shady to say the least.

Going to wait as well, maybe it turns out better than expected.

Are they still implementing that detailed skull frame underneath with every 1/6 silicone figure?

To be honest I don't even know how we'd find out if they do or do not. I imagine it's not too difficult, though, so see no reason why they wouldn't. The same way when creating a physical sculpt you bulk out the inside of the body and head with wire and foil, a 3D relatively low-cost printed skull would bulk it out and mean less Silicone is needed. It's cool, but that is the most gimmicky aspect, Schrödinger's JND skull.

Pretty sure they are. The silicone needs structure inside not only for the “invisible joints” for articulation purposes, but also to not just squish when grabbing the heads when moving and changing the poses.

They showed it off with clear skin.

Be sure to post some pics if JND still refuses to share some footage until then lol.

Congrats though, the clothing looks quite good and hopefully the rest will too.

Cheers mate, will do.

I'm not sure what the fuss over the lack of pictures or videos at the moment is about, it's clearly pretty much the same as the prototype as usual from them.

Times like this I wish I had an actual camera to take better photographs.

Just like with the InArt, proportions on this JND are goofy and make it look like a doll. Argue about how good the HT likeness and/or accuracy is but at least the figure looks like a miniature person.
To be fair, this is missing the two thickest layers of the outfit.
It’s built to look it’s best fully dressed so I’ll be judging it on how it looks with all the layers on.

InArt’s looks extremely malnourished without the blazer and coat but completely fine with them on.
