I certainly give them credit for taking on board the feedback and saying they will fix the issues. I'm curious to see how much they correct, also makes me wonder how many did they produce so far as that's alot of work?
I still have my order but won't be paying until I've seen the improvements. If not then guess I'll take a hit on the NRD.
Why not buy these 1Anybody wants to sell the dogs? Make a little of their money back?
Probably a significant amount of cancellation requests.Wonder why they didn’t listen to any of the feedback before going into production. Criticism must have been overwhelming upon release for them to recall the figure like this. Saw others saying they wished they did the same for a few of their statues.
They're well known for their arrogant attitude, but they've only had to deal with statue collectors and what they sell doesn't have a lot of competition. They were woefully unprepared for how vocal 1/6 collectors can be, and they didn't take into account there are several other established 1/6 brands that they have to compete with, either out of ignorance or pure narcissism. My guess is the cancellation requests must've been overwhelming, coupled with all the bad press they're getting. Hopefully they learn and improve from this, and realize the 1/6 market is a whole different beast to what they're used to.Wonder why they didn’t listen to any of the feedback before going into production. Coat is too long. Adjusting length goes a long way too.Good on JND Hopefully all the revisions end up being for the better as they and I'm sure everyone who ordered are expecting. That's a lot of work they're giving themselves. New costume, new hair work, new eyes and new packaging. Given that the hair work requires actual punching into the heads, I would imagine that would mean they also have to reproduce close to all the headsculpts as well, at least for the direct, Type C orders
Not really talking about "wish list" stuff, but I wonder what exactly they’ll be changing to the costume that collectors who have received it have really fussed about? From what I've seen here, my thoughts would be:
Aside from those things, I think my "wish list" item for the costume would be to just add the stitching to the lapels. I'm sure there's more that is not accurate to the costume that more dialed in folks could point out, but I think the above would satisfy me if I were getting this set.
- Sleeve length of the shirt
- Adding suspenders to the pants
- Adjusting the height of the lapels
Probably a significant amount of cancellation requests.
I forgot about all the people who were trying to cancel like Justin did. Not to mention, them changing the deposit/NRD statement after preorders closed also probably didn’t help their image. Good news is, from what we've seen, production quality isn't a problem that they'll have. If they maintain the quality, minimize QC issues and improve what people complained about, they're going in the right direction.
