Competition is good. I just wish one of the companies did a different pose than the other. Both with the swords vertical make this a tough one to display. IDK if I could honest fit him anywhere. I'd have to rethink my display and possibly move my 1/3 Alien Warrior and put 2 1/3 LOTR in his place.

One thing that would absolutely make me pass on this is if they decided to do resin for the clothing. I hope they don't as Inart aren't.

Beyond that, Two Towers and Return of the King are my favourites of the trilogies, so wondering whether I should wait this out for Gandalf the White from TT to go with Aragorn and Legolas.

I guess we’re still nowhere near getting to see a proto.

Shockingly similar to Queen Studios’ pose except that one includes Boromir’s Vambraces and the red shirt for some reason.

I’m likely to try and get one of these and if JND don’t use fabric for all the clothing, they’ve lost.

I’d love the ability to remove the duster and get the Amon Hen look as well.

Still a couple weeks left in November for them to do the full reveal or at least start the teaser videos

Makes it for a true FOTR statue. As for the pose, we’ve already known it was going to be similar to Queen’s since the first teaser.

Even with full fabric clothing, you most likely won’t be able to remove the duster without breaking the arms. I doubt they’d go as far to make the entire arms removable

That said, it would definitely be a real shame if this is a fully sculpted piece. I’m pretty sure Witcher has real fabric clothing so there’s no reason this shouldn’t either. I sort of doubt that it’s fully sculpted though given that they’re also showing the hair as sculpted in the render, which we know will be real rooted hair. It’s all most likely just a full 3D mock up

Liking what I’m seeing, but not sure the lothlorien cloak makes sense for this. The hair looks really good and a little better styled than Queen’s prototype. I’d probably take that off if I get it.
