Competition is good. I just wish one of the companies did a different pose than the other. Both with the swords vertical make this a tough one to display. IDK if I could honest fit him anywhere. I'd have to rethink my display and possibly move my 1/3 Alien Warrior and put 2 1/3 LOTR in his place.

One thing that would absolutely make me pass on this is if they decided to do resin for the clothing. I hope they don't as Inart aren't.

Beyond that, Two Towers and Return of the King are my favourites of the trilogies, so wondering whether I should wait this out for Gandalf the White from TT to go with Aragorn and Legolas.

I guess we’re still nowhere near getting to see a proto.

Shockingly similar to Queen Studios’ pose except that one includes Boromir’s Vambraces and the red shirt for some reason.

I’m likely to try and get one of these and if JND don’t use fabric for all the clothing, they’ve lost.

I’d love the ability to remove the duster and get the Amon Hen look as well.

Still a couple weeks left in November for them to do the full reveal or at least start the teaser videos

Makes it for a true FOTR statue. As for the pose, we’ve already known it was going to be similar to Queen’s since the first teaser.

Even with full fabric clothing, you most likely won’t be able to remove the duster without breaking the arms. I doubt they’d go as far to make the entire arms removable

That said, it would definitely be a real shame if this is a fully sculpted piece. I’m pretty sure Witcher has real fabric clothing so there’s no reason this shouldn’t either. I sort of doubt that it’s fully sculpted though given that they’re also showing the hair as sculpted in the render, which we know will be real rooted hair. It’s all most likely just a full 3D mock up

Liking what I’m seeing, but not sure the lothlorien cloak makes sense for this. The hair looks really good and a little better styled than Queen’s prototype. I’d probably take that off if I get it.

Looking very good.

The sculpt look slightly off, but I don't think entirely because it is, it looks like the framing of the hair is causing it to me, needs to be moved back a bit.

Looks slightly better than Inarts, at least from this. Inart has a strange thinness to it, but need to see more of those to decide.

The materials look fantastic, though!

Honestly most of their sculpts look slightly off, I think it’s almost impossible to nail someone’s likeness.

I wish I had the space for this.. Wow, I’m really liking it so far. I’m liking this more than Queen currently and I’d also feel more comfortable ordering with JND than Queen.

This is looking great, will definitely be ordering when it goes live. Likeness is not as good as I would have hoped, where I feel Queen nailed the likeness better, however from what i gather JND has a far better track record of not downgrading upon release. Very exciting to be seeing an Aragorn at 1/3 scale!

Yeah, this is true. It's hard to say any that I own are perfect, although for me WW84 is pretty much, WWJL isn't far off.

The male sculpts tend to sit on the lower 90% for me but their overall presence makes up for it.

This having what looks to be very high quality clothing can take any edge off for me for likeness not being 100%.

Definitely looking forward to further pictures and videos from different angles, but it's looking very promising so far.
