I have my popcorn ready - I'm waiting for the creative explanations from the JND fanbase to explain this dog water....

I feel bad for the people that had genuine hope and faith in JND to deliver a decent piece - and while it could be said, that JND deliver according to their prototype - somehow, in this specific case. I realise that quality of likeness is extremely subjective.

I wonder what JND think about the overwhelming negativity to this release and the cancellations that have followed? (I know of 5 people who have cancelled already and that's just in my tiny group of contacts).

I get the impression that JND actually don't care, which is sad considering how "on board" I was with their claims about taking customer feedback into consideration and aiming to surpass the prototype with their final production versions. :(

This should have and COULD have been their greatest release yet. There's such a massive abundance of reference images and material available for them to use and they still screwed it up. So disappointing.

Allow me to correct myself.. "I'll wait for collector unboxing's..."

...that know how to futz the damn thing correctly, can use a camera without obscene lens adoration, and have some idea about color balance :slap
Rest assured, I will be doing everything I can to try and improve how this piece looks overall. Futzing the jacket collar for starters and replacing the hat will help a little, but the pants are beyond saving I think. :(
In that video I posted, you can see that the Connery head must be wider than the Ford head (when the guy puts Henry's glasses onto Junior's head). I am convinced that JND have made Indy's head smaller than it should be in an attempt to try and get the hat to fit without looking too over-sized. They didn't do a very good job of that. Grrrrrr!

Looks decent enough in this pic.

It would be great if people could put a little bit of thought into setting these statues up correctly. Not sure what this collector was thinking when they put Indy's shoulder bag on so it's half way up his torso! :stick

That's probably the most Harrison Ford-like I've seen this statue looking so far though.
