Re: Joebizz34's custom work

Ok so my next custom is almost ready. It is Jason from part 6. He is based off of the Sideshow one with some improvements. I bought this figure off of eBay and the base is signed by CJ himself who played Jason for this movie. It wasn't the exclusive with the severed arm so I made my own. Here are some pics of the arm I created and tried to duplicate the pattern of the shirt based on the pic I am going off of. First is the pic of the scene I am going by to mimic and the others is of the arm. The full figure is coming soon. Check it out.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

The hand of the arm is from a Dragon body that I weathered and repainted but the rest of the arm is sculpted by me and the shirt was hand made off of old clothing material I had. The camo part is from another GI-Joe uniform I had laying around. It looks more like an arm band but it was the best way I could come with to try and match it to how the shirt looked in the pic.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

Ok here he is. Based on the pic I was going off of, I think I got pretty close. What do you think?

Here's a pic of the base signed by the man himself who played him in part 6.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

I made the holes on the Hockey mask slightly smaller to match the look a little more like in the film. I feel that Sideshow made the eye holes a little too big for this scale.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

Awesome work!!! How did you make the eye holes smaller like that? Is that a completely custom mask or did you alter the one that came with it?

It is the mask that came with it. I used sculpy around the eye holes to shrink them a bit and then blended it in with paint and weathering I did on the entire mask.

If you want to see more pics and info on him, Check out this thread I started for this custom specifically. I am going to add more pics of him outside and stuff on this one.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

OMG!! That's all I can say. That is amazing. You can't even tell that there was clay used there in the pics. Nice job man.

Ok I will check out the other thread. I also PM'd you about maybe doing this to my Jason 6 if I send it to you?

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

Got your PM man and all is good. At this point, I think I beat Jason to death. Moving forward I will continue to post updates in the other Jason threads I started but in this thread I am going to move on and start posting other stuff I am up to. So stay tuned for that.

Re: Joebizz34's custom work

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've posted something new and it not being something Jason related. LOL, so I started this custom of my SS Freddy a while back that I posted here. I repainted his head and weathered up his sweater to look more dirty and not as bright red and green. I also trimmed off those badly done rips on the edges of the sweater. However, i wasn't satisfied and since then decided to work on him some more. I wanted a realistic look with rips and burn marks in the clothes which I actually did use fire to create the effect. That's right, I really burned him in spots. The rest is paint and weathering. I fixed his hat so it fits better and sits lower on his head. Here's some pics....

I already posted these in a seperate thread in the horror section so sorry for the redundancy if you have already seen these there. However someone suggested I move the thread to this section so since I already have my custom thread here for everything I do, I figured I would just post it all here. Thanks for looking.
