I just think 98-107,000 dead civilians looks real bad on the US, especially considering your government had used falsified intel against Iraq to push for a war...nothing ____ed up about that huh?.

My wife is from South Korea so she has been following this week's events very closely via Korean news channels.

From what I've seen while watching with her, the US is basically holding South Korea back from an all-out retaliatory attack on North Korea.

The South has basically been pushed and bullied by the North for the past 50 years and they're at the point now where you turn around and punch the bully in the nose. My wife says this is the closest it has come to war since the armistice and she's genuinely worried about what will happen. Her generation is the first generation that has not been involved in a war.

Yeah my friend and her brother are Korean, and she said it's like the North just likes to try ____ to see how far they can push without retaliation. To be honest, if the South really retaliates for this I wouldn't blame them. I hope your wife's family is safe and that they don't have to suffer through things getting worse.
Seoul is right south of the border right? With about 12 million people there, that could be a disaster if the North targeted it first.

Same, my wife is Korean is worried about her family in Korea and is monitoring the situation as well. Hope everything turns out ok.
