Roughly the same thing.
Because all we heard during the last election was its all "W"s fault.
(Actually we still here that from Obama no less)
Supposedly the reason Iran and N.Korea didnt deal and talk with us was because "W" was such a war monger and antagonistic to everyone.
But once the golden tongue and Ivy league intellect of Obama was warming the seat of the Oval office all would be put right.
A new era was to dawn of peace and dialogue, merley because "O" was here.:1-1:
Surely you havent forgotten those lofty promises already have you?

Yes we can! (do nothing). :clap:flag

I'm all for us doing nothing. South Korea seems happy enough to take care of the problem on their own. Instead, we're getting in their way. Seems even when we're not playing world police, we're still involved to the detriment of others.

I honestly am to the point where I think the US should do zero for anyone. It goes unappreciated anyways. Starving nation? Let them starve. Natural disaster? Let them deal with it. Getting bombed and destroyed by another country? Fight back. Murdered by 1000's by an evil dictator? Meh too bad so sad.

It sounds cruel but I say give the people what they want. No US involvement. If that is the world wide consensus I say we should oblige.

Should have done it decades ago. I guess we were feeling a bit too magnanimous after WWII. Or something. Maybe best not to examine those motives too closely, but whatever the real reason was, the rationalization has worn beyond thin.

The most amusing thing would be the reaction if we did nothing. Then all of the sudden we would be the bad guys not willing to help. :lol

Hmmm another nation calling us for help.

And over the weekend China called for an emergency meeting of the six major powers which have been involved in talks about North Korea's nuclear program to discuss the latest crisis. The six are China, Russia, North Korea, South Korea, Japan, and the United States.

I say don't pick up the phone and ignore this request. ____ em!

I feel the same way. No matter what we do, we're critisized for it anyway. We have so many problems here at home that we can concentrate on them instead.

They hate us anyway, may as well give them something to really hate us for.

I would really like to see that at least once. A big, fat NO!
