Not only that bits Play's shipping methods are truly shocking.

Had to return several items because they arrived damaged thanks to them not sending in proper boxes but just in big mail sacks.

DVD's & Blu-Rays are fine but anything of high value or delicate I order from anywhere else.

Play really have gone down in my estimations

Play.com do have high prices on many things but I can never slate them personally since I got my lifesize Arnold bust from them for £300.00 posted. Best purchase I ever made in this hobby I think.

Without shipping or VAT from sideshow it was about £340.00 so to get it here for £300.00 was just ridiculous and for what it goes for now too just makes that my best purchase by far.
Not just in this hobby in fact , out of anything I've ever bought.
The only regret I have is not buying more of them.

They had Black Cat for 199quid last week and I seriously thought about it. Decided against it to save up for the Joker PF. They still have Black Panther for 179.

I'm not against Play price wise it's just their utter ignorance when it comes to shipping your prized statue that gets to me.

Nothing I've ordered recently came in good condition.

I'll try to get some pics later as examples, the statue's were fine & not damaged but the boxes were damaged & all because they can't be bothered to box them up & just ship in bags.

I'm still more then tempted on the odd occasion to order something but then think about the state it might arrive in & I cant be bothered to have to deal with their returns department which again is awful so talk myself out of it

Getting it from SSC should cost me

$350 + $25 shipping = £230
20% VAT = £46
Fedex Fee £10

Total £286 so not as bad as £350 thank god
