True. And I remember that was the Exclusive everyone was clamoring for at CIV.
I passed, though.

It won't. At this point they have no plans to do any beyond the initial 20/21. That can change, of course, but some of the "wish lists" I've seen out there are a pipe dream. The initial purpose of this line was to honor the original figures from '77-'79. That would be these:
1977-78
Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2)
Chewbacca
Luke Skywalker
Princess Leia Organa
Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi
Darth Vader
Han Solo
See-Threepio (C-3PO)
Stormtrooper / Imperial Stormtrooper
Death Squad Commander / Star Destroyer Commander
Jawa
Sand People / Sandpeople / Tusken Raider (Sand People)
1978-79
Greedo
Hammerhead
Snaggletooth
Walrus Man
Arfive-Defour (R5-D4)
Death Star Droid
Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) / Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Fighter Pilot)
Power Droid
1979-80
Boba Fett
That doesn't mean they won't do a figure or two from TESB or ROTJ. But I think the only ones you're for sure to see are the ones above. They're probably not keen on all of those card variants, either. We'll see.
Agreed... kind of like the original set of 3 3/4" Joes; there is something special about those compared to the later releases.
Although in both cases some of the best looking figures came later in the series.
I don't think GG has the capacity for a line with quite that breadth.
Besides, the truth is, even the JEDI figures aren't as nostalgic as the first 20/21.
These could be $200 each and they'd still sell as SW fans will buy anything. They should make these 1:1 next.
Not always true... just look at Yavin Luke. That proved that even SW fans have a limit (although I did buy one)

Your an oxymoron![]()
I noticed that someone criticized the GG Jumbo Fett for the tool below his right kneecap not being painted orange (like the 21 Back Fett.) But now I see that at least the Trilogo Fett didn't have it painted either. So the GG Fett does match the paint on some vintage figures after all.

Yes, thank god GG matched the paint of the Boba Fett that was available to 1% of the population and was only available in a few European countries. Why would they ever want to match the paint job on the figure that 100% of Americans grew up with?
:facepalm
