On Request from nathanial91 , i wanted to start a poll on the jurassic park thread

So here it is :joy

What would you like to see made in their Jurassic park apperance:

1: Tyrannosaurus rex maquette
2: Tyrannosaurus rex and land cruisers Diorama
3: Velociraptor maquette or statue
4: Dylophosaurus statue

After seeing Stan Winston T-rex for auction I can not believe that Sideshow have not done a 1/6 scale Tyrannosaurus maquette yet...

I was soooo disappointed when the JP dio came out considering that the T-rex did not look like the one in the movie and I can not wait to get a T-rex one day. If Sideshow can make one, please do it....

By the way, the SW 1/5 scale T-rex Maquette sold for $40,000 bucks plus $8,000 in fees and taxes.....

Ai Caramba....

I jokingly put in a bid for $55,000, I would have won it :banghead, but theres 2 problems #1 I don't have the money, and #2 my parents would have killed me.
I have mixed feeling on my cancel though:google

I voted T-rex maquette obviously

P.S. @hardstyle lover, it's spelled Dilophosaurus

Yeah, the Tyrannosaurus rex tends to dominate any kind of popular vote. I could have foretold that one, LoL.

I dunno i like the sideshow t-rex dio. Sure the colors are way off and it lacks detail a little but bar that i quite like it. Not even that winston model in the pic is exactly like the final model they used in the jp film. That model was used to get the film greenlit when presented to the studio execs and spelberg.

For me if sideshow make another stab at this they should do a velociraptor dio. That way they could fit in human characters to scale too.

Actually no wait i want to see the Brachiosaurus! Imagine that. I always think sauropod's get overlooked and to me bar T-Rex they are the coolest looking.

The Deinonychus - I mean, Velociraptor - was much more central to the story, so I voted for that.

Well, if I get chance between work and school, I'll get some concept art done for what I think would be good poses for maquettes and diorama.
Maybe if sideshow sees this thread and sees there is interest and ideas flying round, they might go back to the Jurassic license :)

why not ! , maybe like you say they will see this , and start thinking a little bit hahaha :naughty

i'll think of a raptor pose :D

If it doesn't look like the Stan Winston designs, then it's just another dinosaur.

It could be an official Jurassic Park product all it wants.

I would happily take a T.rex, Velociraptor, or Dilophosaurus maquette. ;) Also, bring on the dios. :rock

Unfortunately, during the Spooktacular live chat, CEO Greg said that they do not have any plans for JP as this moment and want to just go ahead with their Dinosauria line.

For more that I want a T-Rex from JP, I don't think we'll get one. At least not for a long time.....

Too bad....such an iconic character....
