Its the best T-rex maquette I've seen!

5 foot long, 1/8 prefection.

Stan Winston's own 1/5 T-rex maquette recently sold for $40,000 at auction.

This thing looks dead on. I will have one soon, and take pics!

How can I get one? How much does it cost?

I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!

@ bearmodel, That would be one of Roostercat's sculpts, He's a regular (or used to be) poster on https://www.Statueforum.com and https://www.conceptart.org.
He has his own website (all be it in Spanish, easy to figure out whats what though), https://www.dinosaurios.4t.com/index.html with some pictures of his previous pieces.

He is currently doing me a 1/18 Male Rex from The Lost World, which is around $900-$1000, But a 5' t-Rex would set you back just over $3000

Heres the one he's doing for me, still very early on and WIP^^^ B)

Hope this helps, he's very good to work with and reply to all my emails ;)

That's impressive, but I'm going to wait for the piece I have in mind, and hopefully some release from SS as well. I'm not neeeeeearly prepared to commit 3k into a collectible. That would seem spendthrift even for me. There's far too much latitude I could have with that kind of coin - like getting a T.rex of more manageable scale as well as an abundance of other collectibles, AND pay rent. :lol

His pieces are wonderful...but his pricing..ouch !

..but he is making some cheaper pieces...his dino diorama figure set looks great and it's cheaper. Now if I can just get him to sell them individually for about 20-30.00 .. :lol

He now offers a 1:18 scale rex that you can display with a die-cast car of the same scale for a perfect dio set up for a better price.
Check ebay.

I might be interested in something like that 1:18 scale at some point. I wonder what he'd charge for a build up and paint job. I have no model making skills.
