Absolutely god-awful design. They shortened the snout so much it just looks generic. Where's the long-*** nose? The hooked claws?

The image on the official Jurassic World website got it right...

...so what went wrong?

I guess they wanted to make it like the spinosaurous? Idk it does seem weird

Looks like something an 8 year old drew up. I bet it spits acid and shoots fire out of its eyes. #whynot

And check out those cankles!

Well, most 8 year old have been imaginations then is Old guys....

Plus this film is pretty much made for that age group...

I mean the painting from the JW website is more accurate to how Baryonyx actually looked. The sucker had hooked claws and a massive snout much like Spinosaurus. The painting got it right.

Here's a skeleton for additional reference.

If the thing in this screencap is supposed to be the same dinosaur, someone screwed up.

Well that's nice to see that they made a animatronic Rexy. Now if they could get rid of this drowned out filter on everything like they did in the first one.

I wonder what type of role Malcolm has this time around.

Prob a one scene cameo where every line is a call back to his lines from the first movie. :lecture

Da trailer will end with him saying "life finds a way"

Ugh the hack writers probably did do that... it would be nice for him to at least do a impression of himself in JP1 where is in TLW seemed like a different person.

Neither this or the one that came before it is anything I have interest in seeing in theaters. The last one was enjoyable for what it was, and I'm sure I'll see this new one at some point, but definitely biting at the bit for it.

There's lots of animatronics in this. Used for smaller intense scenes. I expect the trailers to be full 'Bay' style to get people buying their tickets.

I was mostly referring to the explosions and that kid with the glasses (who looks like he'd be more at home in a Bay movie).

As one of Jeff Goldblum’s biggest fans, I will not stand for this implication. Jeff Goldblum plays one character: Jeff ****ing Goldblum.

Range is for lesser beings.
