Interesting. You can tell they wanted to explore more of the danger zone that wasn’t part of the park but chose not to. There was early art of a raptor on an old jeep outside the park.

This one, right?

This.Going from the books (Both JP and TLW), a sequel that deals with the parks funding evil bioresearch like those monster locusts would make the most sense.
Dinos were the sizzle, but the steak of the story was business and scientific ethics in new frontiers. That's what the new trilogy actually got right, though it was badly bungled. Science run amok without oversight, industry engaging in unethical practices, the commodification of nature for profit, that's what JP is about.
Everything else is frosting.
Yes that one
Yes thst jp 3 spino is without a doubt the best looking animatronic next to rexy imoAgreed. I'm not sure why that is, but the animatronics from the first three Jurassic movies are leaps and bounds ahead of anything used in the most recent three. The CGI was also better in the first three movies IMO.
I know the one you're talking about. I have it saved on my phone and use it as a wallpaper once in a while. I think it's considered an unused poster, but then it did appear on a Blu-Ray set, so I don't know what to classify it as. It's unofficial but also officialEither way, I think it must've been based on some early ideas for JW. I do agree with you that there was likely more planned for the restricted zone that didn't materialize into anything.

Looks like we are back to Mohawk raptors lolThanks to a balloon company, we have our first clear look at the Rebirth Velociraptor design.

Personally, I love it! There are elements of the JP trilogy Velociraptors scattered throughout the design. I also assume this is only one of several Velociraptors that will appear in the movie, and perhaps each will differ slightly, so I'm looking forward to seeing other ways they might incorporate those elements into other members of the pack.
Studios have released their entertainment budgets for 2025 (all of cinema and tv):

Since Disney owns Fox that means Disney is spending the most at 32.6 Billion
32 billion... on sequels, remakes and reboots.
Looks like we are back to Mohawk raptors lol
I like the mohawk haha. Not only is it inspired by the JP/// male Velociraptors, but it reminds me of an old PC game called Primal Prey that featured Utahraptors with mohawks.

My friends and I played it and the Carnivores games a lot back in the day.
Looks like we are back to Mohawk raptors lol
If they're going for quill mohawks on the Raptors they should stop being cowàrds and do full on feathered Velociraptors.Looks like we are back to Mohawk raptors lol
The world isn't ready for it!If they're going for quill mohawks on the Raptors they should stop being cowàrds and do full on feathered Velociraptors.
In fact they should be turkey sized too. If they want bigger, they could use Deinonychus or Utahraptor. Also covered in glorious feathers.
Instead of doing dumb mutant **** to try to be different, they should just do realistic dinos.
Give the T-Rex lips you hacks!
It's on rinse and repeat at this point. Its just as bad as the endless slasher film sequels...I usually look forward to any JP film with the understanding that it's just another monster of the year entry.
But man, this doesn't even feel like a JP connected film. I'm not sure I'm explaining this accurately.
Overall, the franchise has lost it's wonder. That's the part that dissapoints, I guess. I'll walk into this film with the same mindset as I would with any of the latest MV films or horror franchises living off of fanfare the main baddie gets.
Whole lotta soup. Very little meat and taters.
It's easy on the rendering for the CGIBut I guess we are ready for mutant monsters in the series. And no I do not view the dinosaurs in jp as monsters or mutants. They were made to be as accurate as they could be back in 93. Accurate dinosaurs can work. I’m not a fan of the more bird like raptors and I love the retro look but I’ll take feathers anyday over mutated cloverfield monsters.
I hate how the American design for monsters lately is a round head with long legs. From cloverfield to a quiet place. Please let that design die! It’s so boring
