They don't like serious movies, huh? May as well add The Imitation Game to the list, it'll probably clean up at the Oscars.
I guess one's level of excitement largely depends on what they thought of the trailer. I thought it was better than Terminator, though I'm sure I'm not alone.

Star Wars VII *** JJ Abrams, Black Stormtrooper, bad cgi, etc
Jurassic World **** Bad cgi, hybrid dino.
***** = Best ever.
Oh and i say black stormtrooper because i felt the empire mimics the third reich. Just doesn't seem imperial enough to let a black dude in when even other alien species weren't allowed.

I didn't think that there was a poster, here, on Sideshow Freaks that was more pessimistic about these three film than I.
Please, my good man, have a smilie high five. I insist.
I'm only very cautiously optimist about Jurassic World because Ian Malcolm isn't in it. But then, trained Raptors just screams Ewoks levels of tedium, to me. I hope I'm proven wrong, though, & those scenes actually end up playing out rather well.
However, I have zero faith in The Force Unleashed or Terminator Genysis (that trailer

I never felt like Jeff Goldblum or Sam Neil were integral to a Jurassic Park movie, kind of the same way I never felt Sigourney Weaver was very important to another Alien movie. In these cases, they just arent the stars of the movie to me, the park and the Dinosaurs are the stars, much like the Alien is the star of the Alien film. In some ways, the characters in those movies feel more like unnecessary baggage to me.
Movies like Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Ghostbusters are the other side of the spectrum for me, there just isnt any point to revisiting those worlds without those characters in place.

Yeah there's no need. Malcolm gave his chaos report 20 yrs ago he thinks people are idiots and do things anyway... Grant sees Dinosaurs as real only in bone.. hell i bet if he was a real person he'd be the ******* paleotologist who says the film isn't accurate dinosauruia.
