there is a couple of times in the movie that he does sound like that, not when he destroys the car but I remember hearing a low roar like that
(or maybe it was the second movie) I think it is one of the times in the movie when we hear the T rex but don't see him.
The Movie sound was created for the movie so it sounds better, but that vid is the real thing live, Think if you were on a safari and heard that, that would be like hearing the T Rex from the movie in real life.

Yeah I think they used a blend of different animal sounds for the rex such as elephant and you can def. hear a lion/tiger in there.

yeah the elephant is clearly distinguishable when he roars, the lion or tiger can be heard when he attacks the car and bites it.

I liked the original and part 3. Part 2 was complete garbage. That's the only one in the series so far I've never watched again.

Of course, I've only seen the third one twice too but I don't really regret the time/money spent as much.

I'd actually rate them 1, 3, 2.
I liked The Lost World when I was a kid, but when I watched again after getting the Blu set, I really didn't like it that much anymore. Mostly due to some annoying characters. I'm looking at you Vanessa Lee Chester, Julianne Moore and Vince Vaughn.

Being eaten alive is surely one of if not the worst way to go. Even if you're killed quickly the sheer terror beforehand.

Absolutely!
The first film was a masterpiece! I also hated the acting in part 2 but seeing a family of Trex and plenty of Dino goodness made the film for me! Also, seeing Rex rampage in a downtown city reminded me of King Kong too.
