Re: Jurassic Park 4

You and I think alike.

I'm not sure I need a Jurrasic Park 4

It depends if it is good, Most people are wondering if we need a 4 movie but seeing dinosaurs again is a good thing no? Even if JP3 sucked we still got to see some cool dinosaurs again.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

"Yeah, yeah, but your writers and producers were so preoccupied with whether or not they could make a Jurassic Park IV that they didn't stop to think if they should." - Dr. Ian Malcom

Honestly, I wish I'd never seen the sequels. They're ok movies I guess but they are not even a fraction of the masterpiece the JP1 was. I don't think they can ever recapture the magic from that first film. I'm back to not caring about this sequel knowing it'll be as good as JP3 or as bad as JP2.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

The rex breakout is one of my fav scenes of all time, still holds up well too. It's always one I use to test out a home cinema setup:D

:lecture

It remains some of the best CGI I've ever seen. I really don't think it has dated.

And that was the scene we were all shaking with anticipation for when the film was first in the cinemas.

Wow, memories, that was a fantastic trip to the cinema and probably the first and only time my whole family went.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Yeah all of the practical and cgi effects blend so well in that scene, filmmakers these days are just too lazy chucking out everything in CG.

Has to be my number one scene from a film ever. I remember being a six year old dinosaur fanatic going to the cinema with my mum to see this. Incredible memories.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I liked the ending raptor vs trex scene more. Ruthless rex

Is funny you should say that because I feel that the dinos in JP looked better than in JP3, at least the CGI does.

I agree. I remember that shot in JP3 where they are on the boat, and the 3 Brachiosaurs are standing at the waterside and we see a close-up of their CGI-heads... it looked outdated back then, and even more so on Blu.
