Re: Jurassic World

Has anyone else seen the tv spot with the original park at the end? Pratt is hiding there behind one of the original Jeep Wranglers covered in foliage and the D-Rex rips the roof apart.

Re: Jurassic World

I guess so that they can have ominous creepy scenes in familiar locations that the jungle reclaimed. This is the only screen I can find that proves I'm not making this up, if anyone can find anymore, post them :

On a larger screen, you can see the tan and red original colors on the jeep and some of the original park logo and numbers when the roof is torn off.

Maybe they try to lore the D-Rex there to fight it and keep it away from the tourists.

Re: Jurassic World

I've seen a bunch of JW vehicle toys on the shelves and I've noticed a Jeep with the Jurassic PARK logo in a couple different scales. I was curious if that plays a part in the movie.

Re: Jurassic World

So apparently it's Jeep 29, the same one Hammond and Gennaro rode in when they first arrived.

Yes and it's the same Jeep the took from Universal Studios Orlando... They put in a replacement stand in for it in 2013. lol

Re: Jurassic World

Looks very exciting. Heck seeing some of that footage I'd go see a film that just documents a successful tour of the park where nothing goes wrong.

Ditto! Heck, I've watched tons of documentaries on things like Disneyland and Disneyworld and I can actually go to those places :lol

Jurassic Park is by far the one fictional idea that I desperately wish was real. Not the whole people getting killed by dinosaurs part (though it would happen) but being able to see living dinosaurs would just be amazing.

Indeed. It's just, they made it so convincing as a real place in the first movie. And the sense of awe was so palpable - Dr Grant was looking at a real living Brachiosaurus while in no small way so too were we because special effects had never hit that level before.

We may not be in awe at CGI anymore but I hope this film can at least retain the sense of it being a real place. The whole park looks more ambitious than the original one but, if it were real, that is the way it would go. Everything would go bigger and they'd be looking for new ways for people to view the animals or even interact with them. And the way they've made brochures and fake documentary-type interviews with the fictional scientists and so on....all so cool. If only....

Sorry Malcolm, I'd be saying ''do it. do it do it do it''.

Re: Jurassic World

Just saw a TV spot of the indominus hatching . It was such an eerie spot I'm so hyped for this movie now.

It's a fantastic trailer. They should have put it out first. The intercutting of the egg hatching and the chaos in the park is very sinister and very very cool.

Yeah that one and the one a few pages that had the automated voice malfunctioning were the two best yet. Very creepy.

Re: Jurassic World

I know there's lot of practical effects in this, animatronic dinos and whatnot, but everything in the trailers looks like CGI to me. Maybe it's the fast action way of filming. In JP there was no doubt you were looking at something real and not cgi.

Re: Jurassic World

I'm hoping there just keeping a lot of stuff back for the film, we haven't actually been shown that much for a change, most of the trailers have the same shots.
