I FINALLY just saw this last night.
Phenomenal. Absolutely loved it. Honestly, I thought it was slightly better than the first because of all of the 'easter eggs' throughout the film, paying homage to the original. Just very well done. I was smiling ear to ear from the entire film. I haven't been that entertained with a movie in YEARS. (And that says a lot coming from a Marvel fan. The Avengers [1 or 2] didn't even get me this excited.)

YES, preach it!
As far as "being a fan" goes, Star Wars, LOTR, Captain America, those all trump dinosaurs for me. But I haven't seen a movie this genuinely exciting in over a decade, possibly two. Not saying it's the best film of the last 20 years (so chill OUT kara) but it might be the most exciting. Last movie I saw with a climax this exciting was probably the first Matrix.

As much as I love Avengers 1 / TWS, the actual "ending" on JW is indeed more exciting than what those 2 had to offer.

I thought about that while typing that, but I still stand by it.
I loved the original, but JW respected it so well and added they're own twist that I felt it actually surpassed the original. It's like how a sequel can out perform the first installment - similar vein. I know I'm not explaining well, but it's just something I can feel in my bones!!!
Winter Soldier, obviously. Also, Captain America: the First Avenger.

Game of Thrones was made by perverts? I'll never be able to watch those scenes of brutal rape, child burning, and patricide the same again.
