if you think about it, it does make sense, John Hammond had to Beg Malcolm to go back and those annoying parents had to beg Grant to go back as well.
neither of them wanted to go and they probably dont want anything to do with the park ever again.
so it does make sense if their characters never wanted to go back.

the two i wish the movie had were these two, it would have been so great

Haven't seen the girl in a while. Is she even still acting?

Last time I saw Lex was in Tremors 3. She's probably done stuff since then.

I'm just wondering, how the heck can this movie exclude Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum? Doesn't really seem like Jurassic Park...

The story doesn't need them. Simples.

I think one of the best things about this so far is that it doesn't try to force any of the original cast back in.

She likes to paint. her website has her work for sale I think, Im sure if they asked she would have gone back to JP for the movie. When they did some new behind the scenes stuff for the original movies she is the one that appears on a lot of it. I remember seeing some videos where she was the "host" of the behind the scenes stuff.

I think one of the best things about this so far is that it doesn't try to force any of the original cast back in.

the kids would have made sense, Maybe even just visiting the park that their Grandpa wanted to create. like, even as tourists or something. or involved with the company. it would have made sense and it would have been awesome to see the back again.
Hopefully they bring them back for the sequels, I've always wanted to see the kids grown up in a JP movie. it just feels right that they would be back

I dunno, considering they both went to sites twice and were both almost killed twice, they wouldn't want to go back a third time even with a gun to their head.

But the problem there is the park is operational for like what? 5 years? It just goes wrong again right as they are touring? It's just too forced imo. I guess I could imagine that Tim becomes a paleontologist or w/e but getting him into a situation where everything malfunctions while he's there feels contrived.

There's leaked footage of the trailer going around it's an unfinished version. Very shoddy. Son hing you can see clearly is the mosasaur scene which looks really awesome !!! Cannot wait for this. O and that Asian guy hasn't aged a day.

Yeah it all looks very unfinished. I'm sure the raptors are the JP raptors too.

I'm hoping that too. I'm thinking now that we'll only see the Rex during a short feeding show scene in the movie. I think it's safe to say that the D-Rex will be the one causing havoc and eating people.
