Re: Jurassic World

I'm hoping that too. I'm thinking now that we'll only see the Rex during a short feeding show scene in the movie. I think it's safe to say that the D-Rex will be the one causing havoc and eating people.

Rumor has it that we'll see...

...a Jurassic Goose!

Re: Jurassic World

I love the idea going about that people have become normalised and jaded by dinosaurs by this point. Hence the push to create this new super pred.

Re: Jurassic World

Imagine if the T-Rex didn't actually have a roar....and was covered in feathers. How disappointing that'd be.

From what I've read, it makes no sense for such a large creature to have feathers. Same reason why modern elephants don't have fur.
So I don't expect we'll ever see a feathered T-Rex, unless it a T-Rex from the Glaciers...

Re: Jurassic World

I loved his score for John Carter but ST ones were bland and annoying.

Agreed. Not a fan of his Star Trek music. Not a patch on either Goldsmith or Horner's themes. I'd put them above the score for Star Trek IV but none of the other films.

Re: Jurassic World

I don't get the feather hate. Science tells us dinosaurs most likely did have feathers. Would it really be so bad?

Or something a little more subtle like this:

:lol

I don't think I would like to see a brown T Rex that looks just like the original female (**** the linnaean system), but then again... it would make sense, thats how the T Rex looks in the JP universe... actually I prefer to see some continuity

Don't worry, the good thing about science is that it is true whether you like it or not

That one looks great :drool

Re: Jurassic World

These movie dinos were brought back using frog dna to fill in missing gaps. Perfect to explain why they are smooth and featherless.
