My waitlist for the inclusive Jabba converted yesterday! So I'll be getting him most likely after everyone else on here gets him.
There's a good chance you don't have to wait that long. In fact, if your wait list reservation gets converted even before the items starts shipping, it might be that you get yours along with everybody else.
Congratz on the conversion btw. It's nothing like a Grey Hulk wait list conversion, but hey! every wait list conversion is a party, right?!

Check your spam filters. I use Yahoo an they were getting filtered out so I added the address to my address book and they come through fine now. Whichever e-mail you use may be filtering them out.

I give that a shot, thanks! :D

Please post pictures when he arrives, so that those of us who ordered first will have a chance to see what he looks like!

(Just kidding...)

LOL, too funny!:rotfl
I actually am glad that I will get him much later as I need to save up the money. But it won't be hard since I'll have enough $$$ by this Wednesday(payday):D

Thanks! I don't think there was much of a waitlist anyway since I put the waitlist on my account on January 22nd and it converted on the 26th.

Sounds like my Exclusive Leia -- but then she sold out months ago, and her ES is way lower, just 1000.

I wonder how many of those Inclusive Jabbas are there, and how this will effect their price in the long run...

Spoke to Mike @ Sideshow on Friday after I received my notice about Jabba and his throne. I was a little concerned that I was going to get an email next week telling me I was about to be charged. Since I use a debt card for my account (and since Sideshow "guess-ta-mates" the actual shipping cost when they pre-auth) I needed to know how much the "guess-ta-mation" for Mr. Hutt and his throne would be. I was quoted a shipping and handling for both of $40.00. Mike also told me to expect an email regarding Jabba sometime around the first week of February. He also said that they would be shipping during Toy Fair.
Hope this helps.

Quick question... I'm preparing Jabba's throne room as I've got a phenomenal opening in my office (originally built for storage) at about face high that I'm going to use to recreate Jabba's throne room. Once Jabba and his throne arrives it'll be go time with Bib Fortuna and Salacious Crumb waiting patiently-- however what's really missing is the slave Leia. This leads me to my question, as SS haven't yet found a way to disguise the articulation necessary on a 12" Leia (and it looks like along with Aayla Secura we'll be waiting a little while for those additions) which would you suggest would be better to fit in with SS' Jabba for display (ie look and size): Gentle Giant's Princess Leia as Jabba’s Slave Statue (that's supposedly coming out around April) or the already released Kotobukiya Princess Leia Soft Vinyl Model Kit? Or for that matter would they both look out of place and should I just wait patiently for a (hopefully soon) SS Leia release? Thanks for the feedback.

I have 2 GG slave Leia's on order. 1 for the Jabba set up and 1 for my GG statue shelf.

I am not crazy about the Koto piece.

First off, welcome!

I personally would wait a bit. I have a feeling they are going to be adding to the whole Jabba set up for some time. I won't pretend to know how long it'll be, if ever, until SS gets a new body without joints. The GG piece will be the right scale, but may look out of place with that big base they have. The KOTO's a little smaller but I don't think you'd notice since she's a small woman anyway. I'm not a big fan of the KOTO piece, but if you have to have a Leia, I'd go with that one.

Thanks for the awesome (and superquick) responses. I LOVE THIS SITE! But, ahem, anyway-- I agree KitFisto that the GG looks fantastic. As with most things it's the sticker price that has me gunshy. Although the look isn't ideal I'd say that the KOTOBUKIYA (even though it might be slightly smaller) might be better (price wise) and the space that I have will be lighted in a dark way to mirror Jabba's palace.

Darth Loki--- waiting might also be the way to go. You have to think that we'll see slave Leia and Aayla Secura at some point... If SS are focused on really creating the best Throne Room Scene possible then they must be working on the slave Leia, Lando guard and GAMORREAN GUARD (although I managed to snag a Hasbro one over the summer and he doesn't look too bad).

Sure hope my waiting list order for the throne gets converted. My inclusive Jabba wait got converted in a couple days. The throne looks like it's going to take a lot longer!

Personally I'd use SS's Leia as Boushh as a place holder until they release a 1/6 scale Slave Leia. I'm sure a lot of people will be combining the SS Jabba and GG Slave Leia statue. Just wait for other people's pics and if they look cool get one yourself. :)

If you want your Gamorrean to look AWESOME send CustomMikey a PM and ship it to him for a repiant. He's repainting 2 of mine and once he's done they look as good ( better ) than any Sideshow paint jobs.

Have you got a pic of one of those Gamorreans?

Check out this thread for the repaints on the Gamorrean Guards. He has the before and after shots

Wow--- he does a phenomenal job. Hilarious how the lips actually look like they're moist and glistening... truly gross and I mean that in the best way possible. I noticed in that thread that Hasbro 12" were easy to find at low rates, is that still the case? I got on board the 12" line late--- missed out on a Lando guard or an accompanying R2-D2 to go along with my current Hasbro C-3P0. Where are guys snagging them up for cheap? E-bay?
