Hey everyone. I just got the Hot Toys Classic Predator from Predators. I opened the box and everything was ok. I tried to move the left arm at the elbow and the gauntlet broke off. The actual peg is still there but the arm is broken off. It still lights up though. I included some pictures of just where it broke. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can move the legs and the other elbow fine, but it does take some effort.

This was my first ever Hot Toys purchase and I really like the paint and sculpt.

Thanks.

Sideshow would undoubtedly work with you on getting a replacement. Their customer service is top-notch. I wouldn't attempt to glue it, since you'll risk a decrease in value. Just send it in and get a new one in perfect condition.

Superglue.... this is cause by the weak glue that HT uses.... It's not a true breakage...

I'll pop the peg out of the arm before gluing it....

:exactly: It was glued on to begin with so I don't see why sticking it back on with better glue will decrease it's value!:dunno

What kind of glue would you recommend? Gorilla glue?

Don't use the yellow gorrilla glue,it expands when dryi would usesuper glue.if there is a floor covering store by you ask for a kenecto repair kit.its about 20$ but it comes with an industrial strength superglue that dries clear.most dry white.if you use that your predator will be able to support your weight.just don't get any on your hands.

And their delivery service is top-ass.

That's the most clever thing I've heard all day (note that it's only 12:16AM over here).

One question, though: why order from SSC if you're not even in the States? The hassle with customs, the shipping fees, the delays, etc. should be more than enough reason to buy from a HK/Japan/European retailer instead. Not to mention the fact that you'd get your stuff a lot sooner than we do since it takes less time for product to reach warehouses in the Eastern Hemisphere than in the West.

Only (without paying a higher e-bay premium) way to get an Exclusive.... in most cases.

For regular.... many much cheaper alternatives than SSC.

For this case... disagreed
