Just how safe is pre-ordering figs on eBay MONTHS in advance?

I get the feeling some folk treat this neg feedback thing as a gun to these sellers heads. It stinks. Goodshipped and ABC have had a couple of unfair negs from some dim wits who buy crap but dont realise the epic delays associated with Hot Toys, Medicom et all. Yes, these HK sellers advertise stuff that blatantly wont be released inside 30 days, and it can be construed as a shady practice against ebay rules, but the buyer should take some responsibility and not whine if they're dumb enough to buy something, they should know, wont arrive until weeks or months later...

Correct, and I didn't.

At first I was going to go negative because of the paypal fees being pushed onto me but I was able to just let it go and accept that Hot Toys screwed that store out of a sale and me out of $35.00.
