You made the right decision.

I think so. Bib is an awesome figure really. THe only drag is not very many accessory items. The detail in the clothing and the sculpt is seriously cool.

It's funny how "collecting plans" change.

I bought Bib Fortuna and he's a wonderful figure. But I'm not one of those who are getting the whole Jabba environment (it's just too BIG)... or ANY of it actually unless you count Bib. I just saw him at SDCC and in the heat of the moment I pre-ordered at the booth (along with a few other things.) That was when I still thought of myself as a completist in this line. :lol :lol :lol

Since then I've cancelled my Sith Droids tri-pack and have not ordered any of the Endor Soldiers. ANd I've just passed on Bubo... for obvious reasons.

Next thing I know Bib was at my door step. Although I think he is truly an amazing figure (overall one of Sideshow best efforts in this line), my "focus" in Star Wars isn't exactly ROTJ nor the myiad of creatures in the SW universe per se. My focus is basically the Jedi and Sith conflict. Originally, I thought Bib would be a fun contrast to my focus... I had thoughts of posing him with Luke as he entered Jabba's palace.

After Sideshow's boast of 2007 being bigger and better than last year (I shutter as I type this), I wonder where Bib's place is going to be a year or maybe two from now... after we get some of the ANH figures or ESB figures (a Luke Hoth and or Saber-burned Luke in Bespin Outfit would be AWESOME) on the shelf. Not to mention some cool prequel figures like Ki-Adi Mundi, Count Dooku, or ROTS Palpy.

At some point I believe, as wonderful as Bib is, I will, in fact, regret my purchase. I wonder how kind Ebay will be to the value of Bib (I got the exclusive) in the years to come.
