Just look at how loose accessories/items sell like hot cakes on EBAY.
I for sure would buy an accessory pack.

Especially for customs, dioramas, and if you so happen to miss out on things like the bendy whip for Wolf, etc.

They would sell a ton. That's not the point. By keeping them limited in the boxed figures, they keep them in demand. Look how many people bought a wolf excl for that .50 chestburster. I would LOVE to see them in accessory sets. I just don't think it will happen.

I disagree, I think you could make plenty of money with add on packs providing the selection of items is good. Not aliens, but a good example would be HT Jack Sparrow figure, make an accessory pack of like 6 different portraits with Jack's varying facial expressions, a lot of folks would probably buy that. Create an accessory pack of facehuggers, chestbursters and various eggs and that'd sell well too.

I couldn't agree more bro!!!! I've always hated the way companies would sell you the exact same figure with just a different head on it. I think accessory packs would sell for sure!! The reason they don't sell stuff like this is because they know they can suck our wallets dry by making us buy another whole figure. It's all about the money, not the fans.

You are right, a very good point! If they don't make money,they don't make figures, & we get ZERO!!! On a positive note....it gives us something to look forward to & a reason to get more figures!! Personally, I love getting a new figure.....even if it is just to get extra accessories!!

Totally agree FB. There's plenty of money in them. HT does make weapons sets, sells bodies, etc. They could offer these down the road as I've said and do very well with acc packs. The design and sculpt is already there, why just sell a few thousand as exclusives when they can sell several thousand.

I can't fathom there is no money in them. If there is a market demand for them (and there is) then there is profit in making them available in the future.

I do think we'll see them reappear in Alien figs... hope so.

Won't happen any time soon IMO. They're into the Alien and Pred1 lines now.

Sovereign Studios is making a 1/6 Newt available next week with locator and Casey.

I'm with Maulfan and Facebox on the accessories thing, it seems like they are coming out with an accessories pack thing. These things would totally sell. I know I would grab 2 packs of the chestburster and another of the facehugger. And I disagree that by keeping them exclusive Hot Toys would make more. I bought the regular version cause I didn't want to spend an extra $30-40 bucks on the exclusive ordering from Sideshow (I can get the regular without tax and shipping in addition to the $15 off retail). And remember the exclusive was only for Sideshow customers and Hot Toys VIP members(and they got it for free). By offering it as a separate pack they can now sell it worldwide. Please announce the packs HT!!!

Hot Toys no longer accepts membership unfortunately and was available to HK residents only. HT VIP has some really cool benefits:

(1) Priority ordering
(2) Free exclusive items
(3) 10% discount

If they announce accessory packs including Chestbursters I would cancel my SSC order immediately and save a few buck via an AD. Knowing HT though it would happen a while after this was released so you couldn't cancel

If I had a Detolf! My shelves are over twice the width of Detolf shelves. So, if I got more than what would fit on that shelf, I'd sell the rest.
