Just seen a woman getting beat up !!!

I was just walking home from the shop ( store ) when I noticed a woman and man arguing violently.
I was the only one in the street with my mother and he started to punch her , she fell to the floor and he then violently started to kick her in the face !.
I ran shouting angrily towards him but my mother grabbed me back by my jacket. I felt like killing him , I have never have been so angry.
We have just got in and called the police and told them whats happened but to be honest in the UK they take so long and never seem to show ( imo ).
As anything like this ever happened to anyone as I feel so angry now!.

I'm 17 man , she basically gripped me !. This comment made me laugh so much !.
I could of got off her but when she did grab me it made e think it might be better to just phone the police.

Back to the incident. Once driving back home from a running a few miles there was a couple yelling at each other in the truck driving ahead of me. Suddenly I see the guy start punching the woman and then pulls her head down by the hair (as if hes making her go down on him) and starts punching her on the back of the head. I sorta didn't know what to think for a few moments and had an ugly gut feeling (I wasn't constipated that day) then I started to call the police and got his license plate. The truck suddenly made a turn down a street and I followed but the guy quickly pulled in some driveway so I took it he was home. If I've learned anything from the past, NEVER START stuff or go off on anyone on they're own property. Whatever happens most of the time since its they're home they can do get away with anything.

If the guy is willing to hit a woman, imagine what he would of done to you for stepping in; may have ended up shot. Unless you have a gun, best to draw attention to the scene, get a crowd, then maybe try and take him on to prevent it, but stepping in solo is very dangerous if you don't think you can take him.

None of us know the situation, but I find girls who stay with a man that beats them incredibly stupid and lacking in any sort of self esteem or self respect. She will probably go back to him once he gets out of jail.
