Just to clarify-Are HT making The Dark Knight figures?

I believe I read somewhere that they are but nothing explicit or even stating that they were making anything past Batman himself. We'll find out soon enough, I guarantee if there are HT TDK figures on the horizon they'll make the announcement within the next couple of months if not sooner...

I'm sure we'll see them. Probably by Medicom and Takara too. And a crappy version by DCD.

MediCom is a lock....it'll be interesting to see if they follow the Superman suit this time around and offer up a mailaway Bruce Wayne.

HT will most likely be involved.

DCD I guarantee will have a figure probably a Joker as well since their 13" has really come a good way since the initial releases.....

The big question is how extensive Takara will get especially since the new male body was created around the time of BB specifically for this kind of figure and whether they'll be allowed to do more than just Batman....

There was a photo (gone, don't ask) showing the new TDK suit and the motorcycle. I can't see them not making a Joker. He's much more visually interesting than Ras and Scarecrow. Plus, he's The Joker.

Oops, thats what I meant. HT Ledger to go with Takara Batman. Thats if I keep my takara Batman on order. I am having a hard time justify a $175 12" figure.

Yeah thats what I said about a few weeks ago, bought the Medicom version for cheap.................and now i'm pissed! Dude keep the order, even though I have the Medicom version i'm still going to get the Takara too.

If Hot Toys has the TDK license, I can all but gurantee now they will make the Joker. They are making Davy-Freaking-Jones afterall.

I WILL be getting the Hot Toys Joker no matter what. Have no idea if I will get Batman though. Joker is the only one that counts to me.

I imagine we will see stuff come toy fair, at least from Mattel if not everyone else.

The biggest thing for me is his barbie like bright green eyes! Other than that I thought the paint aps on the lip area was weak too. The cape is amazing though. Its grown on me but if I ever have the chance to get the Takara I wont pass it up.

I did not like the Hot Toys Batman figure. Especially the cowl. I'm hoping they re-do it since it appears in TDK. I would most definitely buy a Joker figure. Two-Face, too.
