Everyone in the theater lol at his voice by the end of TDKR in every showing I attended.

I would expect no less in lolcatcity. :lol

In London, there was no such laughter

I think the voice was better in TDKR than TDK. BB was the best. But I do like the idea of an evolution of the voice.

@IrishJedi - Most recently Goyer is showrunner and creator of DaVinci's Demons, the series Starz is banking on to replace Spartacus (now in it's final season).

None of that changes the notion that he's a crap writer, though. He does have some good, cool ideas... but his scripts are pretty much garbage (and require a lot of re-writing, some of which isn't even credited).

So Bruce Wayne is just going to talk like himself and give away his idenity? Even slightly altering his voice wouldn't fool many people. He had to totally change it into something unrecognizable...

It doesn't has to be that realistic...Anyway Kevin Conroy is a great example. Just look at in Batman Tas how different his voice is when he is Bruce and when he is Batman. The voice in Nolan's Batman is just laughable and horrible. I never ever want to hear that ridiculous voice again. In Begins it was passable but in the other two...oh my god. The hole theater couldn't stop laughing every time when Batman started to speak.

Every time I saw TDK and TDKR in the theater the sold out crowd stood up and cheered whenever Batman spoke. During a quiet scene I read aloud some of the complaints about the movie from this forum on my smartphone and everyone burst out laughing.

I hope you read them in the Batman voice.

You guys must have some pretty mellow fellow moviegoers. If somebody started reading aloud from their smartphone in a movie where I come from, they'd be greeted by a pretty unanimous "Shut the **** up!":lol

Funny how that works huh? Its amazing that everyone who goes to a theater is always filled with an auditorium of people who share their opinion which just happens to conveniently give credibility to their internet postings...

Clooney is very open about what a clusterf-ck his movie was and wishes he could have have a chance to do right by the character. With a decent director a solid story he could have done well. I like Clooney in nearly everything else he's done. "The American" was very good.

:exactly::exactly::exactly:

But B&R is just as famous for being bad as BB/TDK are for being great.

That's got to count for something. :lol

George Clooney didn't have a 'batvoice' as I recall.

George Clooney didnt need a bat voice he had bat Nipples to let everyone know how serious and badass he was.

But on a serious note I got a few chuckles out of the "wherre is he" voice but it by no means ruined the movie for me. Bale prolly had a sore throat after a few takes lol its not easy to do that over and over
