Casting decisions would likely be Snyder's, not Nolan's.

Joker isn't as big a deal for a Justice League movie anyway. He's a Batman villain, not a JL villain. Justice needs something bigger.

:exactly:

The villain needs to provide such a threat that it's unimaginable that any of the heroes could take him out solo.

I don't want to see joker in a JL movie. Nope

I don't think I'd want Joker in a JL movie. But ... if they were to start off with a Worlds Finest movie, Joker wouldn't be a terrible addition. If Nolan's Batman Universe is to be the jumping-off-point for MOS and the Justice League ... Joker could be involved toward the beginning.

True. But, I hope they avoid becoming an Avengers knockoff. Its really easy to think 'the threat has to be unimaginable', and to jump right to 'alien invasion'. I'd rather a different unimaginable threat. Seeing some of the great earthbound supervillains come together for a truly epic threat would be better than just some Darkseid invasion or something.

If you fill a movie screen with News Gods and Forth World stuff you'll have your 'unimaginable'.

Apocalypse would look spectacular on the big screen. Thanos doesn't hold a candle to Darkseid.

I would like to see a movie about the government/ or Injustice League conspiring to destroy/dismantle the JL much like we have seen in the cartoons Justice League Unlimited or Young Justice. That whole plot with Cadmus was pretty intense. Same goes with the current Young Justice plot. The Light planning to overthrow the Justice League with smart plans instead of brute force. Amanda Waller and Vandal Savage would be great villains to see in the big screen.

You could have an awesome superhero drama/thriller.

It's never gonna happen though. :monkey2

They'd never do it -- mostly because they'd never let Superman be a villain on the big screen -- but I actually like the idea of a Kingdom Come thing, or something like the Justice Lords from the cartoon. Its more likely a 3rd movie rather than a first or second ... but have a split in the League where Batman's suspicions of the superpowered are proven justified.

Some of the best stories are the ones where Batman and Superman are pitted against one another anyway. Work in the second half of The Dark Knight Returns ... with Batman leading an uprising against a well-meaning but excessive group of superheros. Either that, or something like Superman being hijacked like he was in Hush.

The idea of the super becoming tyrannical is interesting -- though probably too much for a movie.

The Cadmus and Amanda Waller stuff was at it's best when it was personal with Batman. It was awesome when she called him "Rich boy" and he had a look of slack jaw shock. In that moment he knew there were people who had connected the dots.

But Cadmus is ultimately a bunch agents in suits. Not very cinematic.

If you want something on earth you could do the Legion of Doom, but there will be fanbois pouting because Luthor is overused.

Yeah, whenever I think of Waller that scene is the first thing that comes to mind.

That was awesome, but was even more awesome is Batman handing her a towel. The idea that he can find anyone, anywhere, at anytime is just so Batman, and it makes you that much more thankful that he's one of the good guys.:lol

Nah, I'm good either way. So long as the movie is great, I don't care if they build off of Nolan Bats or reboot.

I want Bale back just so Superman can keep asking "What?!?" every time Batman speaks.

Superman (to other JLA members): Does anyone understand what he just said?

Superman in uncharacteristic frustration ''Oh FFS just use your normal voice!!"

:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

Superman: well you see i came from this planet called Krypt--

Batman: WHERREE ISIIT!
