The reality though, is that at this point - any team up movie from DC is going to be rushed / forced. Too much wasted time..

They'll have to reboot Batman anyway - they shouldn't blend Nolanville with anything going forward. The next Superman film should at least introduce some subtle & brief exposition to another DC character - maybe a Lantern trying to reach Kal-El, or Martian Manhunter or something. That way they can at least move a little closer to getting a set up of some kind going.

I kinda think they should just use Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern for the JL. No time to reboot that crap... just make him way likable in this and then do a sequel to GL after JL.

That way we will get to keep Mark Strong as Sinestro and Blake Lively as Carol. :love

Mark Strong - sure. :)

The rest?

That emphasizes how hideous the TDK costume is.

Something like this would be much better (including the tweak to Supes' suit):

Just wanted to say,

LOVE that tweak to the superman suit. The little bit of red on the belt does WONDERS to break up his blue blobiness.

also, JDF for Batman .

Well I think folks are just speculating on what they know best based on what they've seen. I agree that no one I am familiar with has the looks, physical ability, and personality/acting skills to pull off my ideal WW.

I don't think Hal Jordan would have been hard at all to do justice. Just cast Chris Pine! But that didn't happen :(

Gonna keep saying it. Tom Cruise as Hal Jordan.

It was so much easier back in the golden age of comics - Chris Reeve & Lynda Carter WERE those characters. Lou Ferrigno, Nicholas Hammond etc.. :lol

Since then - society & culture have gone through an enormous shift in what is considered good pop entertainment, what can pass as credible - & finding solid actors that can adapt to those factors.

I haven't seen MOS yet - but it's pretty apparent that Cavill nailed it. The foundation at least has been laid - but where to now?

I'm expecting another Batman reboot.. then more Supes, then rinse / repeat. :lol

No. Please for the Love fo GOD no.
WE.DO.NOT.NEED.ANOTHER.DAMN.BATMAN.MOVIE.
WE've had 9 batman movies in the past 20 years. Yes, some of them were terribad. but the point is, the auidence KNOWS who batman is. We KNOW where he came from, and how he came to be. Make Batman the "nick Fury" character of the DC movieverse. He's inserted all over in everyone elses films, but dosn't get a specific film to himself.

At least Not till AFTER the Justice League. and even tehn, It Sure as hell better not be another retelling of his origin. Just Jump Right in, and make him BE batman.

Also, his costume design? His cape, and cowl BETTEr be able to achieve THIS sort of look this time.

Where it hangs over him, and makes his humanoid shape disappear under the folds of his cape..

Or maybe DC could try and distinguish itself by not even doing a Justice Leauge movie. Lets be honest here, its obviously just an attempt to copy the success of The Avengers, and any character besides Batman and Superman really doesn't have that much potential for drawing in the general public. Maybe DC coulld do something a bit different in the same vein. Specifically a Batman/Superman team up movie.

It CAN work. the more I think on it, the MORE i like the idea ofjumping in Feet first and doing the Justice league first, and simply having all of the characters already established, OR use the JL movie as an origin story for one of them. Like Diana for example.

Go for the Gusto, Use Sodam Yot, looking for information on his Kryptonian Ancestory.

Hal was just a douchy character you didn't feel any connection to.

Write a better character and Reynolds can play it fine.

That was the Problem. The writers didn't Write Hal Jordan. They wrote Ryan REynolds with a power ring. Reynolds simply had to be himself.

REynolds was TERRIBLY miscast as Hal Jordan.

It'd be like writing Batman behaving like Richard Simmons

" Ok joker, Let's squeeze those Buns! no getting flabby in Arkham!"

He would make a Pretty good Guy Garnder, or Kyle Rainer however.

Reynolds should just stay the **** away from comic book movies. :lecture

Nahh.. :lol

Fass would be PERFECT.

That - or Chris Pine as Karamazov said.
