Yeah, I don't understand what it is about genre fans who can't seem to see past actors they like from other geek films. I mean people want to cast Cumberbatch, Fassbender, Hiddleston, et al. in everything now. Meh.

That's almost as annoying as people only looking at actors who are already bald (or have played bald before) for Lex Luthor.

Touche. That was a low blow on my part. However, I was more concerned on the fact that you couldn't see Bruce Wayne in those pics than on any typos. The resemblance looks perfect to me.

Well he is a GREAT actor and with this quick photoshop edit I think you can see he could be a very cool "CUMBER-BATS!"

He'd be a better Lex Luthor than Bruce Wayne.

Because Cumberbatch should be typecast as a villain now? Something to consider.... Batman SHOULD be played as a villain - he just happens to be on the "good guys'" side.

Like I said, just cause I don't see the resemblance doesn't mean I don't have the confidence in his ability to pull it off. He already shocked me with his Khan portrayal, so I'm sure he could do the same again, thats the hallmark of any good performer.

I honestly think that would be a better choice than nu-Sherlock Holmes. Apart from skin color, I think he could pull off Batman and Wayne very well. But in terms of guys from the Wire, McNulty could also work.
