Really excited, but I have my reservations. The backwoods/"hollers" made the original dangerous in a scary way. Cities are dangerous, but there are other shows that fit that bill. Boyd will be a hard character to surpass. Goggins was fantastic in it.

Reviews seem really good for this. And as for the setting, most of the original series was actually shot in California, so never quite had that authentic Kentucky feel that the pilot had unfortunately. So I don't think they'll be losing much here.

Finally got my wife to watch the original a week ago and we just started season two. Great timing, as it's been a while for me and I'd forgotten so much about the show. Looking forward to finishing the original and checking out the new one. And to someone's point above, I forgot how amazing a character Boyd was... Damn, I wish Qmz would've made that Raylan figure they previewed...
