I will eventually have the hi res scan available to view here as well. The shots you now see are only snap shots from the 'ol dig. camera. The scans will be dead on to the originals, and should be an accurate representation the the real deal

Today I begin work on Gimli and Legolas off to the right. From there, Aragorn and so on.

I'm in the same boat as icruise... long been an admirer, just never pulled the trigger. I'll probably have to try for a full set once they are available.

Does anyone have examples of how they framed the previous prints?

Or if you prefer going the custom route, pick-up the print on ebay, head to somewhere like Michael's (an arts & craft shop) & get a frame for about $30;

Thanks! Yeah, they're posted in a couple of Jerry's threads. No doubt the remarques are spectacular....Jerry did an amazing jobs on these.

Thanks, it's hard to disagree with you on that one. As if these amazing litho's aren't enough, Jerry offers us the opportunity to own one of a kind original remarques as well.

I don't see a Galadriel in there anywhere....is that right or have i missed her? Seems to be the only main character missing. Maybe i could have her as a remarque!

Galadriel?

She's a main character in the books, and If there was enough room, I would have included her, but with the main "9 walker characters" plus the baddies, her place did not seem to fit in the first two pieces. If I include her now, it would be during the Grey Havens sequence which would destroy the climactic mood of the layout I am trying to achieve.

I want to build up to the point in the film where things become as bad as possible, just before the tide is turned.

I may do a Galadriel piece as a seperate production up the road; we'll see

No, I did not take it that way, I was just explaining how Galadriel was more difficult to find a place for, although she is an awesome character, especially in the books where she is accounted as the most powerful of the elves left in Middle Earth.

Yes! I 'll be sure to give a heads up ( time and date ) when the Pre-Buys go live. The lowest possible number will be # 21 for the Collectors Edition as well as the Limited Edition pieces.
