I almost forgot, the only reason I bought the VB
set for. Here's a good picture of the corset. Great film
accurate detail and made out of a hard but flexible rubber
like material. It's only downfall is, you have to lace it up
in the back and if you pull to hard, you can rip through the rubber.
You learn quickly to hold the corset together with your fingers
before pulling the string tight.
But at least they make the string end hard and pointed, so it's
not that hard to start to lace it up.

Looks pretty good though. This is for sure the highlight of the VB set.

I've seen both up close, this looks a 100 times better than the wonderworld corset and maybe another way to go for some of you.

The VB people would be smart just to part the corset out.
They could make a lot more money in the long run.
Maybe some one should ask them.. I know he's on
this board & OSW, just don't remember the ID he's under.
It would be a lot less cost then having to buy a full figure like Wonderworld.

Yes, the chain is a little out of scale, but it is the correct style,
thanks to Witekite. I'm going to see if I can find a smaller mm.

I heard they're still having issues of getting Kate to do the new film.
So the focus will be mainly on the Nissa character.

But who cares, I'm just interested to see what they do with the
film.

he's really loving it.

I second that! Phicen and Denny Kim are both coming out with kicka$$ versions of Selene except for the headsculpt...Phicen's has rooted hair and still looks too "Dollish" and Denny's version is just not quite there (sorry denny), However, everything else in both sets looks Great! This headsculpt would put both sets over the edge...in my humble opinion.

But Kai pretty much stickes to 1 limted release unless
he's making it for another company. Which in this case..he wasn't.

It was hard for me to even get one of the 15 that were made
and I was one of the first people that showed interest and
kept pressing the issue for it to get done(Kai put it off for some time).....

It went on a custom figure for a good friend of mine in Austria.
It's one of his prize posessions and I'd say he's got about
5 or 6 high end custom Selenes(he's loves his Selenes).
Very few people would sell it, so if you do see one, grab it quick
because there are only 16 in the world and one is Kai's.

I to would love seeing Trevor give Selene a try.

I also noticed that WGP is going to do one as well, so that
could be something very good.

I'm also going to see if my sculptor would do another version
of our first Selene head.

So we could have a few choices of Selene heads from different
artists.

hi guys,
i seen this post and was surprised to see i finaly did something right on ebay for once, , i bought her about 2 1/2 months ago, the seller said all the same things that are being said on here, very rare, one of 15, once in a lifetime, all that jazz, i really had no idea if it was the truth or not?, but what i did know was that it was the absolute best damn "selene" i had ever seen!!!! i set a very big snipe, of course i won it, if the price was appropiate i don't know, but i am extremely happy to own this...and now i feel validated in some way ...lol...... 3 friends have tried to buy her already , not going to happen.....well i wish any of you luck looking for her.....if you do get lucky and get one you will be in awe of the likeness, the paint, just really everything......oh, and the seller was correct of course about everything, why she didnt get more bid's who know's? didnt go cheap though....for the curious...over $300..
