The lining was a salmon pink/red. It was not orange. We were able o talk to people close to Linda hemming and the lining was a very light color salmon.

I'm sorry I don't. Teddy posted a good pic above. And I would say 27 is very close. Keep in kind that the fabric is shiny so it will absorb lights and the fabric will change colors. The hot toys lining is too red and it is not orange.

Side note - just looking at those pics, the pants actually come a bit up from his ankle than I thought I remembered. Might grab some KingGraySkull socks after all

Anyhoo,
From my dodge MS Paint colour snap, there's definitely a matching colour in that wheel ^.
Like Lance is saying, remember the satin sheen will add different tones.
The original one has also been distressed/dulled in some way. I'd really love to know how they did that as satin/silk is one of the toughest materials on earth! And boy... I tried.
Even in solid bleach, it won't change a hint of colour. It looks like they scrubbed it in some form of oily soiled solution and then washed it clean.

BTW, Kato, I am just curious. Is it possible for you to do some kind of fabric shoes like the original version? Even if they were just bare fabric, with a real Medicom style foot slipped in they would hold shape quite well. Gloves could be cool too. Just curious is all, I know it qould be a tonne of work. Maybe even if you just had access to similar fabric, hell, I'd buy some to have a go myself

BTW, Kato, I am just curious. Is it possible for you to do some kind of fabric shoes like the original version? Even if they were just bare fabric, with a real Medicom style foot slipped in they would hold shape quite well. Gloves could be cool too. Just curious is all, I know it qould be a tonne of work. Maybe even if you just had access to similar fabric, hell, I'd buy some to have a go myself

I think Kato has enough on his plate already dude, besides have you ever seen him do gloves or shoes?..no, Kato is great but i don't think that is in his ability and even if it was sculpted shoes and gloves will always be better then fabric imo(for the gloves anyway), if you want accurate shoes and gloves you should ask a sculptor like Beto or someone.

It is not possible to make the real leatehr glove because the leather in 1:1 it is already at 0.3~4mm thickness. It will be impossible to get leather in 0.1mm thickness.

It is possible to make 1:6 real leather shoes but I am not able to make it yet. I can make the sewing parts of leather but I can't make the shoes mold ( it is the wooden mold base on the foot shape and form the shoes shape). In simple words : I am not a shoes maker

Of course, I can appreciate how much intricasy it would take, just thought I'd ponder the possible.
Another pair of sculpted shoes wouldn't help because it's the fact that they are a hard sculpt now that annoys me lol. I think a real fabric piece, more accurate to the real thing would be awesome.

I agree I love that colour and when you look at the pics posted a few pages back you can see that colour alot in the coat but with a shine and light casting shadows over it

No, this is not as simple as you think. This is totally different . It is such as.....something like you cannot just sculpt a jacket and ask me to add the fabric on it
