Sideshow, just get rid of the god damn Buck already! :banghead

It's like a crack pipe of something. EVERYONE knows it should be done away with, but they gotta hang on as long as they can. :huh

And DAMN that's a HUGE head. Might be the worst yet in that regard. :google

I think they are on figures worthwhile, but clearly this figure isn't getting too much behind it.

It's domestic exclusiive, bare minimum accessories, Buck body, it's like they didn't want to make him but did anyway, strange. I think we'll continue to see the Buck on figures where they figure the costuming hides the body.

That's what I thought. Domestic excl means a "low" run, like the Endor troops. I'll pick him up cheap someday, to swap out the body.

Won't happen.

It might. Ya never know.

I think the angle of that image makes his head look shorter. He didn't look like that so much in the movies as I recall. I agree it looks a little chunky or something, but overall I think the proportions are fine.

It looks like the shirt is a little too light actually. If I had to pick something out with this figure.

That's a bunch of B.S. if that is their plan.

I hope Michael Crawford and others continue to slam them for using this long past its time base body instead of the much better ones they now have access to.

And for 70 bucks? Cripes! :duh

It might not. Sideshow has never changed accessories after announcement. Being a domestic ex. just means he's being sold as is, with minimal work.

It might not and my guess won't. They have actually changed the items after an announcement. Either way I'm getting him for basically $8 so its all good for me.

Thing is, this would have been a $90 figure on Prometheus probably.

SW 12" line is getting boring lately. Internatinal & EU collectors need not fear that he sells out over night, and if he does, we'll see him back on second chance anyway.
I like the look of the SSC figure more than the goofy character that was... doing nothing much... in the movie.

SSC has nothing to gain financially to continue usage of the Buck. It would be wiser to start amortizing the new Prometheus body instead.

Base Bucks cost, what... $20. Do you really think each Prometheus figure is costing Sideshow an additional $20 EACH to produce?

This barebones figure on just about any body shouldn't be more than $80.

Unless it was Medicom, of course... then it would be $170.

Yeah, that actually is a good deal! I'd definitely buy him for $8. :lol

I just think for the original price we should get a heck of a lot more extra items. I don't have this bone for the Buck some of you do. Its fine for the poses I want but I would like to see them start using the new bodies more often.

I have no idea, I just remember it being discussed, I don't know if official SSC word or what, that further use of the Buck would occurr when it was though other elements of the figure might drive the price higher so they'd save on the base body to balance things out.
