They don't force people to buy anything, I only buy what I want...

I wanted the whole Sith line, so I bought that, I don't have any other SW products from Sideshow...

That's the smart way to go. I'm a completist. I've been diagnosed. I buy it all. I'm an idiot.:duh

:lol

Of course, I hardly ever have any money, and when I do, it all seems to be spent on Skittles...

Mmmmm...

If I did have some more money, I'd probably buy more...

Yes, the line is getting boring. And this figure can hardly be called interesting. Too expensive, boring character, goofy character design (granted, not SSC's fault), little accessories, ... . All in all a poor choice. Not that the accessories play a role in whether I buy a figure or not, but at this price, the figure should have at least the same extent of delivery as equally (over)priced figures.

I'm getting the impression that SSC is flogging a dead horse. I for one am a bit weary of tertiary characters and overhauled re-issues. I even start to feel that a (presumably) big hit like the armoured Vader will not change this. Because, what's coming after the first armoured Vader? A second one from an other film? And then a third? Come on, how many ways are there to suck the money out of our pockets, and then still continue to claim "we are fans ourselves"?

You do get very sad about their figures :(

I actually wanted a figure of Ki Adi Mundi, so happy to see him being made. And besides the head and hands he does have a unique outfit design so this isn't a total rehash figure. Sure I wish they were cheaper, but Sideshow probably wishes they could make them cheaper.

And as long as the line continues and I can pick and choose the figures I want I'll be happy.

i really don't know how i missed the announcement for this figure going on sale in the last newsletter. i was just on the ss website and noticed he was for sale. about 12 left of the exclusive, but i got one. :)

There's no exclusive. It's just the one figure.

Well put.

The last several figures have been more than adequate in keeping my excitement steady. Palpatine, Sidious, Ben, Han, Luke, General Kenobi, two of the most anticipated prequel jedi, and Vader looming on the horizon. Plus the rest of what they have in store next week. If the general consensus feels that the line sucks and is destined for failure, I feel bad for the general consensus. Just one more reason why it pays to not be a member of the lowest common denominator.

Boring? Maybe for folks not truly into Star Wars. There are all kinds of characters and creatures that would be awesome to have. I know I've wanted a Ki-Adi made at some point during this line because hes goofy looking (in your words) so if I and others want him doesn't exactly make him boring. Also if you make all the characters that are more exciting this line wouldn't last long but maybe thats what you want.

Characters wore different outfits and many fans want them in each. I don't see the issue and having a Vader for any small changes from each film will be cool. Its something fans have been asking for as long as I've seen them talking about SS 1:6th.

Ki Adi is boring? He is the most awesome of all the background Jedi (and the one with the most dialogue). :rock

No.... Not sure you quite understood what I wrote. Not sure how you could qualify an inanimate company as being bored... :dunno
